Under 50g, MagSafe, Drop-Proof & Anti-Yellowing: 4 Innovations That Actually Matter How Serendipity solves real phone case problems – without the fluff.
Share
Most "innovative" phone cases aren't. Same materials, new colors, bigger price tags.
At Serendipity, we asked: What problems do people actually have? Too heavy. Weak magnets. Turns yellow. Doesn't really protect. Here's how we fixed each one.
1. Under 50g
Most protective cases feel like a brick. Ours weighs less than 50 grams – lighter than a AA battery – while still meeting military drop standards. Your phone stays slim. Your wrist stays happy.
2. MagSafe That Actually Holds
Weak magnets = wallet slides off, charger falls away. We use a full 360° N52-strength magnetic ring – the strongest available. Everything clicks and stays: car mounts, wallets, power banks.
3. Drop-Proof Without Bulk
Thick rubber cases work but feel awful. Slim cases crack on first drop. Our dual-layer design(soft inner core + hard outer shell) plus air-pocket corners absorbs shock without bulk. MIL-STD-810G certified. Dropped from 1.5m onto concrete 50+ times. Phone survived every time.
4. Anti-Yellowing That Lasts
Clear cases look great for two months, then turn yellow. Chemistry. Our hybrid constructionuses a polycarbonate back (never yellows) + specially treated anti-yellowing TPU edges. UV inhibitors slow oxidation. Results: stays clear 3x longer than standard cases – about 12-18 months of daily use.
In short
These four innovations make Serendipity a true innovative phone case while maintaining the everyday elegance of luxury casual.
We didn't set out to make the loudest case. Just the smartest one.
- Too heavy? → Under 50g
- Weak magnets? → N52 full-ring MagSafe
- Bulky drop protection? → Dual-layer + air pockets
- Yellowing clear case? → Hybrid anti-yellowing
FAQ
Q: How strong is "military-grade drop protection" exactly?
A: MIL-STD-810G means the case survived 26 consecutive drops from 1.22 meters (4 feet) onto plywood over concrete. We tested even higher – 1.5m onto concrete – with no phone damage.
Q: Will the magnets interfere with my credit cards?
A: No. MagSafe magnets are shielded and safe for credit cards in a wallet attachment. However, we still recommend removing cards before using a magnetic car mount for extended periods.
Q: How do I know if my Serendipity case is genuine anti-yellowing?
A: Genuine anti-yellowing TPU has a slightly different feel – less tacky than standard TPU. Within 2-3 months, cheap cases will show yellowing. Serendipity cases won't.
Q: Can I use a wireless charger other than MagSafe?
A: Yes. Standard Qi wireless chargers work fine. The magnetic ring does not interfere with charging.
